Well Forza 3 is already the highest rated Sim racer on the PS3 and Xbox 360, so I guess it won't be that hard to do.
GT5 - 84
Forza 3 - 92
@ Zeevious
Why are you saying that the jokes on him? All you have done is presented speculation. You have given no proof that Sony is monitoring sales to consumers using barcode/serial number tracking.
Where is your source? Also, you are choosing to ignore that NPD contradicts Sony's numbers for sold/shipped in the US. We know Sony's numbers are higher in the US than what NPD is stating. So why would you speculate that Sony would track sold units...

@ UnwanteDreamz
Funny, I don't recall seeing your same comment "Wow you kids love your sales don't you." in the GT5 sales articles. Wonder why?
Gears 3 < Killzone 3
It will sell more and have a higher meta rating and is the game I am personally looking more forward too.
"where are those billions going besides to bieber, ellen and oprah?"
uh...It was only Millions. Not billions.
Just saying.
1. Mass Effect 2
2. RDR
3. Halo Reach
4. Battlefield Bad Company 2
5. NHL 11
Those are my top 5 games I played this year in that order. I enjoyed GoW3 ONLY because I felt the urge to see how the story ended. It was OK, but I doubt I will ever put it back into my PS3.
"More weight to the car = less speed.
Realistic!!"
I don't think that part of the video is the main focus on where "realism" is in question. Also, if you think a Lamborghini Reventon can travel the distance it did with another Lamborghini Reventon on it's hood without the tires blowing, or the car bottoming out, then you idea of "realistic" scenarios is extremely warped.
@ wesley-dw
In your OPINION it should have been longer, but in MY opinion it was the perfect length along with the that gave it an even longer playing experience.
Alan Wake is simply a "story". How long do you think stories should last? Actual gameplay in MGS4 is around 4 hours and that is on a 50 gb disc. Should MGS4 have had more gameplay in the campaign since it had a whole 50 gb disc available to it? I don't think so. I think MGS4's...
Are you putting Alan Wake on the same level as GT5? Wow, I was unaware Alan Wake was a #1 franchise like GT5, or that Alan Wake had a 60+ MILLION development budget.
And can you back up your claims about the length of development for Alan Wake. Last I heard it was only 4 years since it was first featured in 2006. 6/7 years, LOL I think you are confusing GT5 development time with Alan Wakes.
I agreed with you. I love my Kinect as well. And I am eagerly anticipating Steel Battalion.
I loved Gears 2. The online was broken for a couple of months but sense then has been resolved. Other than that, I have enjoyed the series so far quite much.
@ josephayal
No I don't. I can see those 2D trees in GT5 just fine.
@ Armyntt
Well said, + Bubbles to you. Too bad out of the 3 of you, your the only intelligent one that responded.
@ PS360WiiRocks
I didn't see ANY disappearing details in that video. I thought we were comparing GT5 to Forza 3 in THOSE videos. And in THOSE video's I felt Forza 3 was better presented. Don't get so emotional...
Both look great but I am giving it to Forza 3. Can't stand those terrible flickering shadows on the GT5 replays. Just Fugly.
Oh here we go again with the "Halo Killer" articles.
KZ2 didn't even scratch Halo 3 let alone kill it. Now that COD has shown itself to be a major competitor in the FPS genre, now it too is a target for PS3 exclusives to "KILL".
LOL. Killzone 3 won't hit more than 3 million copies sold if it even manages to hit 3 million.
Enough with these articles from idiots who proclaim X Sony exclusive is going to "kil...
Did you not watch the video? @ 0:11 the car is slowing down after the crash, then starts to speed up and do rolls in the air. This goes against all earthly physics.
@ Shadow Flare
"If this video got approved is there any reason why this video shouldn't get approved?"
Simple.
1. Forza 3 came out last year so it's not really news worthy at this time.
2. The person is not holding down the trigger to fully roll over, they are holding and then letting go to give it a rocking motion. If you watch till the end, that is when they decided to hold the trigger in all the way to ...
Bumped for Forza 3 reference. Thanks Jokesonyou and Green
Dude the blogger is the one who brought up the sales argument. Now you want to blame these guys for talking sales? Read the article instead of looking like a fool with your pants on the ground and try and keep up.
Looks like MS did a good job with that $500 million marketing expense and it's paying off.
"Furthermore, Microsoft also released its new Kinect camera – which permits controller-less interactions – for the Xbox 360, driving accessory sales to an astonishing $413 million dollars, the largest single-month total for that segment of the market outside of December, and a 69% year-over-year increase from 2009."
$413 million in sales done in 1 month. ...
